Mayu is so simple to say she loves a piano and she believes playing and teaching piano is a huge mission for her life.

She was born in Kyoto, Japan and she begun studying piano at the age of three.
At age of five, she got a admission to enter a professional music school and she studied with famous musicians and pianists. All the way through high school, participating and excelling in many different piano competitions and activities on the local and state level.
She graduated with honors and music degrees of in piano performance and pedagogy from Kawai musical collage in Japan.
After she began to pursue a career as a classical piano leader in a famous Kawai instrumental company.
She also studied keyboard organ fields (electric organ and pipe organ) and she hold a degrees of performance and pedagogy.

She took summer master course at Chopin Music University in Poland in 2015 . She is RCM advance piano specialist.

Her experiences include: instructing the piano and organ , assisting in the making of music textbooks, training piano instructors as well as performing in a concert setting. She is in licensed in the area of performance piano, song arrangements, teaching, and rhythmic instruction.
She feel privileged to have acquired all this experience in Japan and she wanting to share the joy and peace that music has brought her with her students here in Canada.
